ABOUT: As part of Studio 23's Art Around the City Event, artists were invited to submit their pieces. Only 50 would be selected, printed, and featured on plaques around Bay City. Sharon Berkan-Dent gave an artist's statement for the project: "Sharon Berkan-Dent is a lifelong artist whose focus on long-form graphite drawing led to her acceptance into an international organization, the Society of Animal Artists, as well as local and international shows. Berkan-Dent is also an accomplished jewelry artist who has had works published in “Art Jewelry Magazine” as well as the book “CAST.”'
