​Welcome to the Great Lakes Bay Region! We invite you to explore, learn, experience, and share in our many arts and cultural attractions. You may choose to become immersed in historic theaters or take part in an authentic Japanese tea ceremony.  You can climb aboard a historic WWII naval ship built right here, or step back in time at an art museum located in a Georgian-revival mansion.  In the morning you might want to step inside a masterpiece of mid-century architecture, and in the afternoon prepare to be in awe of the sculptures of an internationally known sculptor on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University. These highlight just a few of the historic rich gems within the Great Lakes Bay Region.
