ABOUT: ​ Jim Letherer was a Saginaw native who advocated for racial equality and marched alongside Martin Luther King Jr. despite having lost his leg to cancer at an early age. Burdick created this mural as part of the Great Mural Project to bring awareness to the life and legacy of a lesser-known figure in Saginaw history.
