ABOUT: As part of Studio 23's Art Around the City Event, artists were invited to submit their pieces. Only 50 would be selected, printed, and featured on plaques around Bay City. Mike Zuriech gave an artist's statement for the project: "Mike Zureich is a ceramic sculptor. After graduating with a B.F.A. double major in math and fine arts, he taught while he completed a master’s degree in CAD/CAM, and then worked in that industry for 25 years. He is the IT director at Dow Credit Union and has been creating his ceramic sculptures at the amazing Midland Center for the Arts Ceramics Studio since 2017."
