ABOUT: As part of Studio 23's Art Around the City Event, artists were invited to submit their pieces. Only 50 would be selected, printed, and featured on plaques around Bay City. Josh Roupe gave an artist's statement for the project: "Josh Roupe was born in Bay City, Michigan. He has a bachelor of fine arts degree from Central Michigan University and an associate degree in art and design from Delta College. He is also a Marine Corps veteran who served as a rifleman during ground operations in Iraq. His work consists of mixed-media collage combined with stencil-based printmaking inspired by street art graffiti."
