Jason Nuttall gave an artist's statement for the project: "Jason Nuttall is a portrait artist and cartoonist based in Bay City, Michigan. He is married, with three children, and is an art teacher for an online Stride K12 school. His inspirations are realism, impressionism, cartooning, and comic book art."
