ABOUT:
This mural was created by Annie Stout for Phoenix Community Farm, located at Windover High School. Students of Windover and community members were invited to help paint this mural as a part of Midland County’s Neighboring Week and Phoenix Community Farm’s annual harvest celebration! Community members of all ages participated in painting in the flowers, vegetables, sun, and sky. This colorful mural depicts many different things that are grown in the garden for our community. Phoenix Community Farm serves the Midland community with not only fresh produce, but also with education about growing, harvesting, preparing, eating, & preserving produce. This mural is meant to represent the work they do and the bounty they provide to the community through the hard work of the growing season.
