ABOUT: Jim Ardis’ work in clay, copper, bronze and other metals can be found throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region, Michigan and the U.S. His works in Midland include a Great Blue Heron copper sculpture and a 9’ x 6’ copper mural of the flora and fauna in and along the Chippewa River at Chippewa Nature Center’s Visitor Center, copper medallions on the US-10 bridge over Eastman Road in Midland, a copper sculpture of a family at Greater Midland Community Center’s entrance, a bronze statue of Jesus at Trinity Lutheran Church, a stainless steel and copper origami crane in Grove Park and many more.
