ABOUT: As part of Studio 23's Art Around the City Event, artists were invited to submit their pieces. Only 50 would be selected, printed, and featured on plaques around Bay City. Diane Arendt gave an artist's statement for the project: "Diane Arendt studied art at Western Michigan University. In 2015, she revisited her love of painting. Her art was in Studio 23’s juried 50 Artists of the Great Lakes Bay Region/Art Around the City exhibition in 2019, and she received the Award of Merit in Studio’s 2022 MI Artists All-State Juried Exhibition. She has also participated in Studio 23’s 100-Day Projects, Painters & Potters Exhibits, and plein air events."
