ABOUT: Fredericks cast this six-foot aluminum relief in 1962 for St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  It depicts a strong, kindly figure of Jesus sheltering a small boy and girl. The girl is holding and comforting a wounded bird in her hand.
