Bay County Library System

​The Alice & Jack Wirt Public Library functions as the main or central library for the Bay County Library System. It is located on Center Street in Bay City. In addition to housing the largest collection of materials in the system, it includes a business resource center and core reference collection, a local history and genealogy room, a computer lab, an outdoor reading garden, several study rooms, and a large community meeting room. Other Bay County Library branches include: Sage Branch Library, Auburn Area Branch Library and Pinconning Branch Library.
