Bay County Historical Museum
The Bay County Historical Museum is a non-profit organization that manages the Historical Museum of Bay County and cares for the Trombley Centre House located in Veterans Memorial Park, Bay City.
The Bay County Historical Society began over 135 years ago when a group of citizens created the Bay County Pioneer Society with the purpose of preserving the history of Bay County. While lasting less than two decades, this "pioneering" group of some of Bay County's most prominent citizens paved the way for the current society which dates to 1919. The Bay County Historical Museum was formed with the intent of promoting the study, collection and preservation of Bay County's story. Rising from humble beginnings and continuing to reach for the highest level of standards, the Bay County Historical Museum continues its commitment to preserving our history through the support of our members. |
