ABOUT: As part of Studio 23's Art Around the City Event, artists were invited to submit their pieces. Only 50 would be selected, printed, and featured on plaques around Bay City. Rosemary Kavanagh gave an artist's statement for the project: "Rosemary Kavanagh is an oil painter and paper-dress and oil-on-canvas dressmaker. She has exhibited in three museums, many galleries internationally, and has had many solo gallery exhibitions. She has won numerous awards, including first-place awards. She recently finished a commission for a children’s hospital in Saginaw."
