ABOUT: As part of Studio 23's Art Around the City Event, artists were invited to submit their pieces. Only 50 would be selected, printed, and featured on plaques around Bay City. Emmy Heger gave an artist's statement for the project: "Emmy Heger enjoys making and creating. She likes working with clay, glass, paper, and encaustic. Her inspiration comes from listening to music, and observing people, animals, and nature. Just about anything can spark an idea. Her subject matter ranges from the human form to the abstract, and from colorful to black and white."
